Description:

Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell, & Berkowitz, PC has an immediate opening for a full-time Office Clerk in its Orlando office. The ideal candidate will have 3 + years of administrative experience, be detail-oriented with exceptional communication and organizational skills. This candidate will be part of a small but growing office and will need to be a team player and able to handle whatever tasks are necessary to support the office. Experience in a law firm is helpful but not required.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Basic knowledge of office equipment, including computer and copiers
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints

Responsibilities:

  • Provide coverage and support for receptionist, by answering phones, picking up and/or distributing mail, inventorying and ordering pantry and office supplies
  • Provide coverage and support for legal support coordinators with calendaring, assisting with the preparation of legal documents and correspondence, electronic filing with courts, scanning and/or copying documents, keeping files organized, and other administrative tasks
  • Support other administrative tasks and projects as assigned
