Job Description
The Office and Compliance Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective management of the administrative and compliance functions on a construction site in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Ireland employment law, construction regulations, and administrative procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, construction management, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a construction site management or administrative role
- Strong understanding of Ireland employment law, construction regulations, and administrative procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the site office
- Maintaining accurate records of all site activities, including work orders, invoices, and contracts
- Managing the site budget and ensuring that all expenditures are properly documented and accounted for
- Ordering and managing supplies and equipment
- Arranging for the transportation of materials and equipment
- Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Ireland employment laws and regulations, including:
- Maintaining accurate employee records, including work hours, wages, and benefits
- Ensuring that all employees are properly trained and certified
- Conducting regular safety inspections and audits
- Investigating and resolving employee complaints and grievances
- Manage the site’s environmental compliance program, including:
- Ensuring that all waste is properly disposed of
- Monitoring the site’s air and water quality
- Conducting regular environmental audits
- Assist the construction companies in dealings with government agencies, regulators, and other stakeholders
