Description:

Working for Cricket Australia means that you become a part of Australia’s proud history and help us look toward the future. We are seeking to drive bold, transformative change in digital experiences, junior participation, culturally diverse inclusion, gender equality and sustainability, re-imagine the W/BBL, build player connection through storytelling and play our part in developing the game globally.
Our purpose is clear; to unite and inspire everyone to love and play cricket. Cricket is so much more than just a game; it brings people together and binds us all through our shared experiences.
This is your opportunity to join a purpose led organisation that truly makes a difference to Australians.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • At least 1+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • An interest in office management and/or administration
  • Professional presence and awareness
  • Available to work onsite Monday to Friday
  • Willing to roll up your sleeves and get the job done
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships across the business and with a range of stakeholders
  • Technologically savvy
  • A passion for embracing new ways of working

Responsibilities:

Due to an internal secondment, we have an exciting opportunity for an Office Coordinator to join our Community Cricket & Capability team on a 6-month fixed term contract.
This isn’t a regular receptionist position. It is a fast paced, dynamic role where every day is different. You will be the face of our Cricket Australia office and quickly become the go to person for all questions and assistance our staff may need during the cricket season.
If you’re driven, have outstanding customer service skills, and professional presence and awareness, we want to hear from you.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Facility Planning & Management and based at our office in Jolimont, you’ll be responsible for:

  • General reception and office facilities duties and maintenance
  • Providing administration assistance to our Executive Team – eg. booking travel, diary management and expense submissions
  • Coordinating meeting room bookings including setup, coordinating catering for meetings and pack down
  • Processing and distributing incoming mail, coordinating outgoing mail and liaising with couriers to process incoming and outgoing orders
  • Maintaining the offices utility points including stationary, groceries and other office supplies
  • Troubleshooting AV/IT issues in meeting rooms
  • Arranging building maintenance as well as day to day repairs and ad hoc requests
