Description:

GARNEY CONSTRUCTION

An Office Manager position is available in North Kansas City, MO . This role will be responsible for maintaining an efficient, productive, professional, and organized office environment. The ideal candidate will strive to ensure our internal and external stakeholders needs are supported, business objectives are met, and smooth operation of day-to-day activities are maintained. To be considered for this position, candidates must have previous office management experience and demonstrated experience managing at least one direct report. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Maintaining office cleanliness, storage, décor, seating charts, key cards, and vehicle tags.
Upkeeping office and department growth projections to support office infrastructure needs, supplies, equipment, and budget.
Managing department leadership expenses.
Overseeing all incoming and outgoing packages, including requests from regional office locations, and an address database.
Maintaining relationships with office related vendors.
Managing business cards & branded paper product ordering.
Supporting the resolution of office maintenance, equipment, and furniture concerns.
Planning, coordinating, and communicating office safety trainings and company culture events.
Participating in local business council meetings.
Providing a professional welcome and office tours to new employees & guests.
Managing one direct report. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; capable of prioritizing tasks efficiently.
Ability to handle sensitive information and documents with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
Ability to manage and adhere to a budget.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
A proactive, calm, and adaptable attitude, capable of thriving in a dynamic construction environment.
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
3 years of experience in a management role with at least one direct report.
3 years of experience as an office manager or related role.
