Our Client are a small family-run electrical company based in Glenville, Cork, dedicated to providing high-quality electrical services within manufacturing/commercial/residential industries. They are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Office/Payroll Administrator to join their team and contribute to the smooth operation of our business. The position is on a part-time basis working 3 days, Monday - Wednesday or Tuesday to Thursday.
JOB SUMMARY
As the Office/Payroll Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the administrative functions of the company, with a primary focus on payroll admin. In addition to this you will work closely with the manger assisting with quotations and also support the company owner with any adhoc duties required. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment within a close-knit team.
Roles and Responsibilities · Process/Submit weekly or monthly invoicing, using payroll software (Quickbooks) · Calculate and input employee timesheets including hours, overtime, bonuses, and deductions using software such as Tradify and Collsoft · Arrange payment for Suppliers and Contractors Invoices · Assist management with quotations · Compile handover manuals · Liaise with HR Consultant with any new starters · Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll regulations, tax laws, and company policies. · Assist with general office administration tasks, including answering phones, managing correspondence, and manage company email · Support the management team with ad hoc administrative tasks and projects as required. Required · Previous experience in payroll administration or a similar role · Experience with software (Quick books, Tradify and Collsoft) is an advantage. · Experience in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). · Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail. · Excellent organizational and time management skills. · Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. · Experience working in the construction or electrical industry is a plus
