Description:
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The Office Services Assistant helps keep the office running smoothly by handling various administrative tasks. This includes taking care of the office space, managing technology and equipment, assisting with employee office setups and relocations, maintaining security and confidentiality, setting up conference rooms, managing supplies, handling mail, operating office equipment, and providing backup support for other office services when necessary. The role requires being present at our front desk every workday between 9:00-17:30.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Secondary education required Experience: 1-2 years general office experience preferred, ideally in a professional services environment; specific experience may also be required for specialized roles (e.g., catering)
- Excellent English and Hungarian knowledge
- Familiarity with basic computer applications
- Confident, professional demeanor; can-do attitude and desire to deliver great service; ability to effectively manage shifting deadlines and priorities; solid analytical skills
- As a part of our commitment to apprenticeship and community, consistent and predictable in-person/in-office working time is essential to this role.
Responsibilities:
The role involves welcoming and assisting both internal and external guests during in-house events, such as workshops and client meetings. This includes tasks like room allocation, space setup, handling smaller printing jobs, and managing courier services. Responsibilities also include answering calls and emails for the Budapest office’s reception, maintaining a professional and welcoming environment, and coordinating security processes.
Responsibilities extend to being the point of contact for cleaning, technical maintenance, and implementation issues, as well as managing everyday lunch and snack catering for colleagues. Additionally, the role involves handling taxi pickups, travel-related requests, administration, and management of IT supplies, conducting regular inventories.
