Description:

We are searching for a diligent and meticulous Copy Clerk to join our team in San Francisco, California. This role is primarily focused on back-office services, handling tasks such as reprographics copy and mail services, both in physical and digital environments. The position also involves providing support for services in hospitality, facilities, audio/visual, and reception. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize appropriate logs for all office services work
  • Ensure that job tickets are properly filled out before beginning work
  • Perform work in office services, primarily reprographics, mail, and intake functions according to established procedures
  • Follow procedures to run jobs in the proper order
  • Communicate with supervisor or client on job or deadline issues
  • Meet contracted deadlines for accepting, completing, and delivering all work
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment problems and place service calls when needed
  • Prioritize workflow and perform Quality Assurance on own work and that of others
  • Load machines with various paper, toner supplies, and answer telephone emails
  • Interact with clients in person, over the phone, or electronically
  • Adhere to policies in addition to client site policies
  • Use equipment and supplies in a cost-efficient manner.
  • Proficiency in customer service, with a focus on maintaining a positive and detail oriented demeanor in all interactions.
  • Familiarity with office functions and operations, including standard procedures and policies.
  • Experience in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent phone presence.
  • Ability to supervise team members, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies.
  • Knowledge of workstation support, including troubleshooting common issues.
  • Familiarity with hiring processes, particularly within a clerical or administrative context.
  • Proficiency in scanning documents, maintaining logs, and ensuring the proper functioning of office machinery.
  • Previous experience with receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and handling incoming communications.
  • Understanding of facility operations and policies, particularly within a digital office environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with colleagues, supervisors, and customers.
  • Experience with quality assurance processes, particularly in relation to document handling and distribution.
  • Ability to distribute faxes and handle service calls in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet business requirements.
  • Familiarity with paper handling and document management.
  • Experience using digital platforms for scanning and storing documents.
