THIS OPPORTUNITY

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Full Time Office Technician for our Albuquerque, NM office. Be involved in projects with our PMCM Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

Your Impact

  • Responsible for document control on one or more highway or transportation related projects.
  • Setup a filing system and file incoming project documents according to a prescribed filing format both hard copy and electronically.
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans, specifications, and contract documents to determine project administrative requirements.
  • Support the preparation and review of monthly payments to vendors such as contractor pay estimates.
  • Support the preparation of contract change orders.
  • Review, verify, distribute and file project submittals, subcontractor payrolls, incoming documents, meeting minutes and monthly reports.
  • Prepare tracking logs in MS Excel of various information requiring tracking including incoming correspondence, submittals, information requests, and pay estimates.
  • Verifying project computer or hard copy records including invoices, billing documents, pay quantities, time used on a project, safety plan requirements, employee time reporting and documentation.
  • Ability to fill out various electronic construction forms, file and distribute according to defined process and procedure.
  • Verify subcontracts for conformance to contract requirements.
  • Manage the assignment, maintenance and use of fleet vehicles assigned to staff
  • Provide record keeping and filing of project documentation in compliance with all client policies and procedures.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Who You Are

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma with a minimum of 3 years of highway and bridge construction experience or related engineering experience or related office management experience.
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
