Successful candidates will have:

  • Previous related experience in Accounts Payable and reconciliations.
  • A passion for customer service and delivering exceptional service to staff and students.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and PC skills.
  • A good knowledge of FinanceOne (the University’s Finance Management system) would be an advantage, but not a requirement. Training will be provided.

ABOUT US/MŌ MĀTOU

You will be joining the Financial Control team within the Financial Services Divisional Office. We are focused on providing a range of accounts payables, financial processing and transactional activities for operational areas of the University.

Responsibilities:

As an Officer Accounts, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of routine financial transaction activities including:

  • Invoice validation.
  • Invoice matching.
  • Employee expense claims.
  • Basic account reconciliations.

This role also provides first line finance services and guidance around routine financial system enquiries.
