Description:
The Editor (film/tv) creates technical editing decisions. He/She manages the production of the final film/video output to meet technical specifications. He/She manages the post-production process for a project. He/She provides technical advice during production to facilitate post-production. He/She manages the post-production process to ensure a coherent and integrated production.
~ Conform to final edits, deliverables and archiving.
~ Ensure that internal editorial guidelines are complied with.
~ Maintain overall editorial vision and direction.
~ Organise camera footage (first cut).
~ Perform sound synchronization.
~ Perform subtitling.
~ Perform video highlights.
~ Perform color corrections
~ Review and improve production work flow processes.
