Our business

You will get an insight in

• European Gas Market
• Commodity Trading, your working place will be directly on the trading floor
• Interaction and collaboration of trading, market analysis and advanced analytics & AI
• Analysis of gas fundamental data (gas demand, gas supply, gas capacity utilization,…)
• Commodities Market Research
• Definition of best practice standards surrounding data (i.e., data modeling, database design, ETL design, job scheduling and monitoring, etc.Building data pipelines, standardizing, and cleaning data for the group
• Evaluation and improvement of existing quantitative models
• Visualization and reporting of data findings creatively in a variety of visual formats

What we are looking for

• You have strong programming skills with first experiences in coding in Python
• Scripting skills (Python or R) and knowledge of most popular machine learning libraries
• Having first experience with any of the following systems/tools is a plus: Jupyter, Docker
• Proficiency in Relational database engineering (Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL server )
• Design and implement stored procedures and views in MSSQL
• Energetic & enthusiastic about learning in a dynamic environment
• Strong analytic and strategic thinking skills
• You are fluent in English/German
• You are a currently enrolled student
• You hold a valid work permit for Austria
