CCLI is looking for an On Call Licensed Practical Nurse with a generous heart to work in our Talbot House which is a 24-hour hour residential stabilization center licensed by the New York State Office of Addiction. We are seeking those with a desire to contribute to the well-being of others to carry out our mission on Long Island. QUALIFICATIONS:

• HS Diploma/GED;
• NYS Licensed Practical Nurse certification;
• Nursing experience in behavioral healthcare settings a strong plus;
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team;
• Strong listening and communication skills necessary to provide client-centered care;
• PC proficiency required. Experience with electronic medical records data entry preferred.
  This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location. • Monitor, evaluate and care for clients’ condition, ensure compliance with medication procedures, and advise treatment team of any significant changes or treatment issues;
• Interact extensively with clients in various stages of recovery, helping them to acclimate to program activities and procedures;
• Provide general education and support in areas of treatment and health maintenance;
• Collaborate with medical and clinical staff, and liaise with emergency and/or hospital personnel as needed;
• Provide documentation in an electronic medical records system.
