CCLI is looking for an On Call Registered Nurse (RN) with a generous heart to work at Talbot House: a residential withdrawal and stabilization center licensed by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports. We are seeking those with a desire to contribute to the well-being of others to carry out our mission on Long Island. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current New York State licensure in Registered Professional Nursing;
  • Nursing experience in behavioral healthcare settings a strong plus;
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team;
  • Strong listening skills necessary to provide trauma-informed, client-centered care;
  • PC proficiency required. Experience with electronic medical records data entry preferred.
    This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation which may be applicable to this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess clients during telephone screening, at the time of admission, and as needed to identify and address health problems and unmet client care needs;
  • Monitor and care for clients’ condition, advise treatment team of any significant changes or treatment issues and provide input for treatment and discharge planning;
  • Ensure compliance with medication procedures;
  • Interact extensively with clients in various stages of recovery, helping them to acclimate to program activities and procedures;
  • Provide general education and support in areas of treatment and health maintenance;
  • Collaborate with medical and clinical staff, and liaise with emergency and/or hospital personnel as needed;
  • Provide documentation in an electronic medical records system.
