SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to collaborate with Commercial department teams to develop individual programs
  • Ability to create a needs analysis for initial onboard needs by department
  • Ability to create job aids to support independent learning

PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Coaching skills certification
  • Learning Management System (LMS) experience

Responsibilities:

The Onboarding Coordinator is the first touch point for all commercial new hires. They are responsible for creating a warm/welcome/wanted feel. The Learning & Development Team’s key attributes are curiosity, collaboration and accountability. We love to have fun and support Tekion teams! In this role, you will create relationships with all commercial teams learning the culture and roles of sales, implementation, support, learning, and marketing. The Onboarding Coordinator is also responsible for the following:

  • Launch new hire groups into their designated programs
  • Communicate expectations for the first week creating an environment of accountability and support
  • Manage mentor/buddy program
  • Create Learning projects and assign appropriate LMS courses
  • Create synchronous/asynchronous learning
  • Company Tools
  • Departmental specific content
  • Dealership Operations content (to support green hires)
