Responsibilities:
- Using CHARM (our Oncology Information Management software), coordinate and organise the supply of cancer care medications including chemotherapy and immunotherapy for the day oncology unit patients
- Participate in clinical screening of cancer care medication orders
- Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
- Actively oversee the setup of new clinical trials
- Participate in the delivery of clinical trials including but not limited to dispensing, drug accountability and preparation
- Facilitate negotiations with sponsors/CROs
- Work closely with, developing and maintaining key relationships with oncologists, nurses and clinical trial staff
- Educate and counsel staff and patients in relation to chemotherapy and clinical trial medications
