As the field of oncology continues to evolve at an unprecedented pace, precision medicine has emerged in the last 20 years and has become part of the standard treatment for some cancers.
At the heart of precision medicine in oncology lies an approach that acknowledges the uniqueness of each individual, with their specific type of cancer.
