Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Buying and/or Merchandising experience, ideally in the fashion/retail industryeCommerce / Web experience is preferred
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with high levels of business acumen, strong knowledge of Excel
  • Extremely organized and process orientedProven ability to prioritize, organize, manage time and multi-task with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communicator, with the ability to summarize data into actionable insights
  • Great attitude, a strong and solution-oriented team player with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
  • Experience with Google Analytics considered an asset

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the E-Comm Manager, the Online Merchandiser is responsible for executing digital merchandise plans that maximize on-site conversion, drive business growth, and meet objective and profit goals.
The ideal candidate will be process driven ensuring a high level of product & category accuracy for our online assortment and possess an analytic mindset, with the ability to synthesize and simplify findings into actionable insights.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage accuracy of digital product catalog, including pricing, category mapping, product content, navigation, and on-site search optimization to maximize sales & conversion.
  • Manage on-site sequencing needs based on content updates, newsletter deployments, customer behavior, selling information and inventory position.
  • Provide Digital Marketing team with appropriate merchandising selections and messaging direction for on-site banners, newsletters, and promotions.
  • Partner with Buying & eCommerce team to build and flawlessly execute digital merchandising strategies including category up-sell and cross selling.
  • Support promotion set-up, including web pricing and online exclusive promotions.
  • Review & analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly product performance, category performance and user behavior.
  • Identify & recommend in-season opportunities to increase sales and conversion.
  • Assist in site & email QA tasks, new feature deployments, performance bug tracking and issue resolution.
  • Support Online Merchandising Manager in documenting best-practices and key training documents.
  • Monitor live sites daily to check for category navigation and product accuracy.
