Online Sales and Marketing Senior Analyst

You will become the Online Sales and Marketing Senior Analyst for the Sony Europe online business, providing reporting and insights on web-based metrics, sales impacts, and marketing KPIs as well as providing direction on future online analytics initiatives.
In your role, you will assist in setting up and handling different projects related to online analysis, reporting and data collection of various e-commerce and online marketing projects.
This will include e.g., on-site web behaviour, customer acquisition and retention reports, providing insights on seasonal campaign performance (Black Friday), consumer segmentation, supporting multiple teams achieve to optimisation in their activities via consultancy and data insight generation or setting up new reports and data projects to provide actionable direction to marketing managers across Europe.

You will:

  • Leverage platforms and technology including Adobe Analytics and Power BI.
  • Design, build and manage Online Analytics reports from both internal Sony and external sources.
  • Present key business metrics such as organic or paid traffic and sales conversion, customer journey and review and ratings search/keyword analysis, and other online-related data.
  • Liaise with a variety of senior business partners to understand the Online priorities and manage the demand pipeline and requirements from the business.
  • Coordinate with both internal report development teams and external partners to align on priorities, timelines and requirements to best guarantee products are delivered on time and exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensure all services adhere to company development standards and undergo any vital QA checks and processes.
  • Document online analytics strategies and processes, and recommend improvements.
  • Leverage existing reporting or create new deliverables able to generate insights.
  • Use advanced BI tool capabilities to develop intuitive reporting that can quickly highlight areas that require the business team’s attention.
  • Ensure that data quality and governance are positive contributors to stakeholders’ processes.

You will bring:

  • Previous experience in dealing with e-commerce and marketing data and insights.
  • Solid understanding of data and analytics, and extracting data using query languages such as SQL or DAX.
  • Powerful data visualisations and storytelling using Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI with a very high level of competence.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, effectively and influentially both verbally & in writing, creating a bridge between business and technical teams.
  • Excellent organisational & time management skills with the ability to successfully manage and prioritise numerous time-pressured analytical activities and projects.
  • Capability to indirectly manage performance.
  • Keen tech insight and passion for technology.
