Currently, we have an exciting opportunity as an Onsite Flex Recruitment Consultant - Dispatch Coordinator at our Rocky View client worksite.
The Onsite Flex Recruitment Consultant - Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the Dock Assistant/Lumping program at designated warehouses and on-site facilities working with the clients, carriers and, vendors to ensure Dock Assistants/Lumpers are assigned as per the load requirements daily. Reporting directly to the Calgary Branch Manager, you will develop recruitment strategies and the provision of temporary recruitment solutions to meet the client’s needs.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Implementation of the branch marketing plans to increase revenue
- Client Service and Delivery
- Recruitment and Candidate Management
- Field Staff Management
- Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Client, Candidate and Financial reporting
- Ensuring Corporate Policies are being adhered to uphold the reputation and standards of Drake including the security of Drake assets and records.
- Ensuring adherence to all local laws, privacy laws and Workplace Health and Safety Act.
- Ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and training manuals. There is to be complete standardization of all forms, reporting systems and operating procedures.
- Ensuring that all documentation, systems, policies and procedures relating to Quality Control are strictly adhered to.
- Referring all Government, legal, contract and insurance matters to the appropriate corporate officer.
- Recommending to level up any candidates that might be of interest to the organization.
- Participating in on-going training and/or performance improvement plans as required.
- Preparing and participating in performance appraisal and management programs as set by the branch manager and/or area manager.
- Contributing to a healthy corporate/team environment that is conducive to high morale.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience of recruitment and dispatch in a similar environment is preferred
- Experience with supply chain, transportation or warehousing is an asset
- Exceptional ability to groom long-term client relationships with an emphasis on total quality management.
- Ability to deliver on core sales metrics and activities on a daily, weekly and quarterly basis.
- Exceptional customer service and negotiation ability supported by a high sense of urgency.
- Results-oriented approach with a proven record of achieving service and revenue objectives.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Project management experience with a solutions-focused track record.
- Ability to plan and organize in a time-sensitive environment in order to deliver on deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills (word processing, spread sheets, email and tracking software).
