    To strengthen our team and development we are looking for an Accountant (F/M/D) in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
    You will be working full time.
    You will work on monthly closings, forecasts and budgeting, as well as customer invoicing.
    You are organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
    In this role, you will be working with an international team across Germany and France, hence a good knowledge of English is a must.
    Depending on your strengths and profile that you bring, some of the below responsibilities may be more important than others.
    You will mainly be in charge of the accounting for several subsidiaries in Germany.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 to 5 years’ of professional accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of DATEV and/or SAP (if possible S4/HANA FI)
  • Knowledge of German accounting mandatory (general / customer / supplier)
  • Previous working experience in an accounting department is required
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • German and English languages are mandatory to work in an international environment
  • Open to interface with different cultures

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
  • General accounting of several companies (customers, suppliers, and office accounts)
  • Processing invoices and receipts, checking and recording payments, etc.
  • Bookkeeping including preparing, processing and recording bank transactions, processing purchase, sales and general ledger entries
  • Preparation of bank reconciliations and other balance sheets
  • Data reconciliation queries
  • Payment of expense reports
  • Oversight of bank records and other tasks
  • Processing transactions in the system accurately and within agreed timetables
  • Working closely with team members to contribute to quarterly closings
  • Contributing to the annual audit process, including the drafting of financial statements and related notes
  • Dealing with any business query
  • Reporting to the Manager at Group Headquarters
