Description:
HOW WILL I HELP?
An exciting opportunity is available for a Service Engineer – Cloud Networks to join the Infrastructure and Service Management team in Group Technology. This position is open to interstate candidates as well.
The role will include, and is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain OpenShift clusters.
- Manage cluster resources and configurations.
- Implement best practices for cluster security and performance.
- Identify and resolve issues related to cluster performance, availability, and security.
- Work closely with support teams to resolve complex technical problems.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for cluster provisioning, maintenance, and monitoring.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for OpenShift environments.
- Implement security policies and measures to protect OpenShift clusters.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and industry security standards.
- Experience with Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security for Kubernetes (ACS)
- Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions for the OpenShift environment. Prometheus and Splunk experience is a plus.
- Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for OpenShift clusters.
- Monitor resource usage and plan for capacity expansion based on business needs.
- Provide critical incident only response outside of working hours on a weekly rotation.
