Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain OpenShift clusters.
  • Manage cluster resources and configurations.
  • Implement best practices for cluster security and performance.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to cluster performance, availability, and security.
  • Work closely with support teams to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for cluster provisioning, maintenance, and monitoring.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for OpenShift environments.
  • Implement security policies and measures to protect OpenShift clusters.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and industry security standards.
  • Experience with Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security for Kubernetes (ACS)
  • Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions for the OpenShift environment. Prometheus and Splunk experience is a plus.
  • Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for OpenShift clusters.
  • Monitor resource usage and plan for capacity expansion based on business needs.
  • Provide critical incident only response outside of working hours on a weekly rotation
