Description:

The roleThis position includes frequent and repetitive lifting, manual handling of medical equipment and patients. Appropriate manual handling will be provided.
The successful candidate will be required to work am and pm shifts.

Employment Term

  • Pemanent full-time and part-time (hours negotiable)

Generous remuneration package value up to $79,105 (full-time) p.a.comprising:

  • Salary rates between $2510.50 - $2657.50 p.f. (full-time) and $33.03-$34.96 p.h. (part-time) (OO3)
  • Annual leave loading + leave
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • Other employment benefits may include: salary sacrificing options, locality allowances, employee wellness and assistance programs and access to corporate discounts

Role requirements

  • Highly Desirable: Although not mandatory, qualifications relevant to the position would be well regarded.
  • Shifts: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.

The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated ability to perform the roles of an Operating Theatre Assistant.
  • Previous Manual Handling Experience in a Health Care setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to priorities work commitments and work autonomously in a rapidly changing work environment.
  • Excellent consultative, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
