Hiring experienced “Operation Theatre Coordinator” with a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a tertiary care hospital.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Graduate degree in Nursing / Management / Healthcare Administration / Quality
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a multi-specialty hospital
• Fluency in English. Arabic will be an advantage
• Strong IT skills in MS Office and Sales applications
• Fluency in English. Arabic would be advantageous

• Coordinates with OT to book the cases on daily basis
• Book appointments for Pre Anesthesia check ups before the surgery
• Ensuring the bill are closed for PAC patients
• Checking and ensuring the insurance approvals are received before the surgery is booked.
• Keeping the surgeons informed if there is a change in their surgery schedule
• Coordinating with nursing team for availability of instruments for the scheduled surgeries.
• Monitoring and ensuring the OT cases are done as per schedule without any delays.
• Guiding and keeping the patient bystanders informed
• Preparation of logbooks for surgeons based on request and approval
• Ensuring the OT booking and schedule is sent to management and relevant stakeholders on a daily basis
• Any other tasks assigned
