Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute OAT scripts to assess the resilience and reliability of software applications under various conditions.
- Develop and maintain automated OAT scripts, integrating them into the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline and providing associated reporting and trend analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design realistic test scenarios that simulate real-world usage patterns and user behaviours.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement recommendations to optimise application resilience.
- Assess, review, and validate all Non-Functional Test requirements and assure 3rd party supplier deliverables.
- Initiating the use and reuse of a broad range of tools, including open source, commercial and cloud based options
- Run, monitor and analyse OAT tests and results using established tools and frameworks, monitoring system behaviour.
- Document test plans, test cases, results, and optimisation strategies for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Work closely with developers, quality assurance teams, and stakeholders to ensure operational considerations are integrated into the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of OAT testing methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Contribute to the development of the 2i Non-Functional Test Chapter.
