• Reviewing purchase requisitions and ensuring completeness of requirements and/or statements of work
• Leveraging existing preferred suppliers where available to maximise benefits and identify further supplier options as required
• Liaising with suppliers to undertake requests for quote (RFQ) processes
• Negotiating with suppliers
• Reviewing and performing due diligence on purchase requisitions for completeness and compliance to preferred and other set criteria
• Maintaining procurement policies and practices for Procurement requirements and educating requesters about these effective practices
• Contributing to continuous improvement in Holcim Australia’s procurement practices i.e. identifying sourcing opportunities for Category Managers; identifying improvement opportunities for buying activities and identifying and escalating any process/systems opportunitie
