OPERATIONAL CONTROLLER

RESPOSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS

• Execution of LV and MV switching operations in accordance with European-, country- and company specific safety rules from Sassnitz Contro Centre or at offshore assets
• Managing radiotraffic between vessels, helicopter, workforce, emergency service providers
• Liaise with emergency Coordination Centre and all emergency response services
• First point of contact with grid operator and power trader
• Vessel and people tracking, including cargo handling for all offshore activities
• Monitoring of weather conditions and vessel rtraffic inside and in close vicinity of the offshore assets
• Operating permit to work system, checking RAMS, certificates and qualifications, train subcontractors and internal staff
• Attendance at troubble shooting and switching activities offshore
• Lead and supervision of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance acivities
• Managing enmergency response and communications plans
• Monitor SCADA systems, respond to alarms and situations as nessesary in cluding remote operation
• Regular reporting of wind farms operational status

MANDATORY SKILLS

• Sucessfully completed vocational education as electrician or electrical engineer
• Fluent English and German skills, verbal and written
• Medical fitness and willingness to work offshore ( only partly )
• Minimum 3 years of experience in operating LV and HV equipment, sub stations or wind turbines
• Exellent IT and software skills, familiar with Microsoft 365 products
• Become certified as Senior Authorised Person ( Anlagenverantwortlicher ) in accordance with EU legislation and company specific safety rules
• Ability to travel in Germany and abroad

DESIRABLE SKILLS

• Switching authorisation 220 kV
• Radio license SRC ( short range certificate )
• Experience in marine and heicopter traffic control and emergency response activities
• Experience in operations of cranes
• GWO modules for offshore works
