Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

The Operational Projects Officer is a new role being introduced to support Corndel’s continual improvement and growth. You will be responsible for overseeing and delivering high impact operational projects that drive continuous improvement and efficiency, including supporting projects that involve data, technology and AI. This highly facilitative role requires a combination of focus and flexibility, project management capability as well as a willingness to play an active role with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will scope, plan and deliver across multiple priority projects, working with a range of stakeholders to produce excellent outcomes.
You will have experience of working with senior colleagues in a project-oriented environment and a track-record of successful project management. You will be a highly organised and dynamic individual with strong emotional intelligence, a solutions orientation, and sharp analytical skills. You will be motivated by the opportunity to deliver a positive and lasting impact for our learners, their employers and the wider organisation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a variety of operational projects from inception to successful completion
  • Ensuring that all projects have robust governance in place which is suitable for the project
  • Working with stakeholders to define requirements for projects
  • Keeping projects running on track through great management and problem solving
  • Supporting with the development of proposals for new projects including scope, requirements, deliverables, ROI, benefits, and risks
  • Creating, tracking and managing projects within Monday.com.
  • Identifying, managing, and communicating with stakeholders and workstream leads
  • Facilitating project meetings using methods appropriate to the project and audience
  • Reporting on project progress and outcomes to senior stakeholders as necessary
  • Gathering and sharing lessons learned to feed into continual improvement
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure accurate, standardised and timely client reporting including use of appropriate technology, automation and AI.

Person Specification:

  • Have experience of working in a project-oriented environment.
  • Have a track record of successful project management and the ability to manage programmes of work.
  • Have experience of working with stakeholders and business owners to gather project requirements.
  • Ability to analyse and translate data and information into reports and recommendations.
  • Ability to write clear communications, minutes and reports and presentations.
  • Be highly organised and able to maintain a high standard of accuracy under pressure.
  • Have strong analytical abilities and the ability to understand and utilise data.
  • Understand how to support technology and systems implementation projects.
  • Have an understanding or willingness to learn about the challenges and opportunities facing the Apprenticeship Sector.
  • Desirable to have experience or an understanding of Monday.com.
