Operational Risk Management Leader

As IKEA Belgium’s Operational Risk Management Leader, you will ensure compliance and proactiveness by making sure that priorities are well accepted and understood by the business stakeholders, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and treated, and by doing so, safeguarding our co-workers, customer, assets, and the IKEA brand.

Your assignments will be varied, and will entail – but not be limited to:

• Partnering up with the business to provide support and secure risk and compliance operational excellence
• Securing the right risk and compliance competence and knowledge in all units and by planning learning activities and building up networks.
• Facilitating financial and non-financial risk assessments, documenting and monitoring risk mitigation.
• Building up/using Data and Analytics to monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and deliver risk exposure analyses to support a risk-based decision making
• Ensuring risk registers are continuously updated and maintained;
• Ensuring the Governance, Risk and Compliance Platform (GRC) is well maintained and constantly updated on internal controls, risk management and compliance areas
• Ensuring recurrent Risk (including Internal Controls) and Compliance reporting to internal key stakeholders
• Conducting in-depth Compliance Verification activities on different areas of the business, in line with the Annual Compliance Plan
• Continue to integrate risk management into existing business processed and workflows (project planning, business planning)
• Work in line with internal Steering Documentation and Risk and Compliance KPIs
• Work with multiple technology solutions.
