Description:

Geodesicx, Inc. is in search of an Operations Analyst to join our team in the Norfolk, VA area.
The Operations Analyst I is responsible for assisting in the coordination and management of large organizations that require the effective use of money, materials, equipment, and people. This role supports various Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) and Command and Control (C2) systems across multiple platforms supporting Department of Defense end users.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Three (3) years of professional experience in operations research, which includes assisting in the coordination and management of large organizations that require the effective use of money, materials, equipment, and people.
  • Experience in applying analytical methods from mathematics, science, and engineering, and in using techniques such as simulation, linear and nonlinear programming, dynamic programming, queuing and other stochastic-process models, and the analytic hierarchy process.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline, Physics, or Mathematics

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting business operations in accordance with the NAVSUP Publication P723, NAVSUP Internal Control Aids (ICA), and NAVSUP Lines of Effort (LOE).
  • Support the preparation of all documentation associated with assigned programs.
  • Assist in the performance of work, including controlling and tracking performance and goals in terms of costs, schedules, and resources.
  • Contribute to the analysis of operational requirements and system key performance parameters (KPPs) and metrics identified within the program operational requirements documents and system-specific addendums.
  • Support the acquisition logistics functions such as provisioning, obsolescence management, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortage (DMSMS), configuration management, maintenance requirements card development, technical documentation development, inventory stocking level demand management, and supportability analysis of engineering change documentation.
