Description:
DURATION: PERMANENT
Our client, a supplier of mining and drilling equipment, is seeking a dynamic and versatile Operations and Administrative Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be an all-rounder capable of handling various administrative tasks while also assisting with sales, customer communication, and logistical operations. This role offers an opportunity for growth within the company and requires someone committed to long-term engagement and alignment with the company’s vision.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Matric or higher qualification.
Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in email communication, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
Stable work history, demonstrating commitment and reliability.
Previous administrative experience
Basic understanding of accounting functions such as invoicing and reconciliations, beneficial
Familiarity with the mining or drilling industry, highly advantageous
Sales experience, beneficial
Responsibilities:
Assist with sales inquiries and quotations, maintaining effective communication with customers.
Process orders efficiently, liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of stock.
Handle general administrative tasks including credit applications, booking arrangements, and telephone inquiries.
Manage driver schedules and oversee order collections and deliveries to customers and freight forwarders.
Perform invoice processing, goods received vouchers (GRVs), and bank statement reconciliations.
Coordinate import and export shipments, including customs clearance procedures (training provided if necessary).
Facilitate bank payments and ensure timely release.
Generate invoices, packing lists, and other necessary documentation.
Assist in packaging goods for delivery and ensure compliance with packaging standards, as well as organizing related paperwork.
