Mauri is currently seeking applications for an Operations Business Analyst for our Western Animal Nutrition (WAN) Business. This role is based at our state of the art facility in Hope Valley, WA and is a two-year fixed term contract. Reporting to the Head of Operations and CI, this critical role will be responsible for providing holistic support to the WAN businesses with a focus on embedding and optimising processes, identifying areas for improvement, and facilitating data-driven decision making within the organisation. Key requirements of the role include:

  • Working with the business and IT teams to improve existing systems, operational processes and governance and controls.
  • Support daily reconciliations of key process interfaces to mitigate any risks to stock and customer invoicing.
  • Assess current operational processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies.
  • Facilitate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline and improve processes.
  • Develop, document, and implement (including facilitation of training) standard operating procedures.
  • Lead or participate in operational improvement projects from inception to implementation.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to foster collaboration and drive alignment and understanding of business requirements and operational challenges.
  • Ensure key governance and controls are appropriately established, particularly in high-risk areas such as stock control and cost management.

The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with proven experience in identifying and deploying process improvements. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related fields and possess 5-plus years of experience as a business or operations analyst. Strong communication skills and change management are critical skills required to be successful in this role. We require a deep understanding of SAP (ECC), experience working across multi-system/application environments as well as a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel. Experience in Supply Chain and Manufacturing is advantageous.
