ABOUT YOU

We are looking for an experienced candidate with excellent communication, stakeholder management and collaboration skills and a high degree of business acumen as well as strong SAP experience.
You understand that key contributing factors to success are collaboration - and at the same time deliver high quality and timely solutions and deliverables. You are well structured and methodological and know when to execute and delegate, and how to make right prioritisations.
You are fluent in Danish and English, both written and verbal.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Procurement experience, with a strong understanding of supply chain and logistics
  • Ability to negotiate and partner with internal and external customers to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Ability to work with people / teams in a complex, changing environment, to deliver value-added results to the business.
  • Demonstrable experience of SAP or another recognised enterprise planning software.

Responsibilities:

As an operations buyer at our plant in Osted, you will be responsible for the tactical & operational purchasing plan for our Infusion Care division. You’ll have the overall responsibility for keeping our raw materials available at the committed service levels in the factory. Our buyers are also responsible for covering production planning and in-direct purchasing to support the site in Osted.
You’ll have your own area to look after and be responsible for managing the inventory and targets within it.

How you will add value:

  • Purchase order management with our external suppliers, to keep the right materials in the right quantity at the right time in the factory in Osted.
  • Purchase in-direct materials for the site.
  • Manage stock transfer orders between the factories in Osted and Reynosa.
  • Taking part in the production planning for the factory.
  • Monitor and act upon alerts raised for materials when they are unavailable and follow up with overdue Purchase orders.
  • Monitor and evaluate the planning settings of the materials.
  • Manage the financial invoice discrepancies.
  • Manage the Excess & Obsolete within your own area.
  • Taking the lead on one’s own area – understanding the issues that are driving unavailable materials, capacity constraints and other supplier specific challenges.
  • Take an active role in projects, managing changes in variants or new variants, ensuring close cooperation with the development team.
  • Secure a sustainable and productive relationship with the suppliers within your area, including managing the monthly forecast.

You will report to the Manager of Supply Chain Planning and the work location is in Osted, Denmark, south of Roskilde. You can expect approx. 5-10 travel days annually.
