Alongside routine servicing, we handle major component replacements like generators, gearboxes, and blade bearings with our in-house specialized teams.
Role Description As an Operations Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing, coordinating, and monitoring activities across the Optinergy power-producing fleet. You will work within a customer service framework, ensuring safe site operations and maintaining accurate performance records.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule.
- Keen interest in renewable energy or a related engineering/technology field.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) and strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, flexible work environment.
- Ability to maintain focus for extended periods and perform under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and address real-time faults to optimize energy output.
- Ensure safe transfer of control under Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR).
- Keep track of adverse weather conditions and issue necessary alerts.
- Generate reports from complex data sets for internal and external use.
- Serve as an emergency contact, coordinating appropriate responses.
- Update third-party energy trading systems in real-time.
- Support other health and safety, IT, and operational tasks as needed.
- Be the primary point of contact for management queries.
- Ensure seamless shift handovers and keep detailed records of ongoing issues.
