Position Description
QIAGEN has embarked on an exciting digital journey to transform our global operations and are now seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join us as an Operations Digitalization Manager. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements. The successful candidate will have a strong background in digital transformation, project management, and a deep understanding of operations. TASK DESCRIPTION:

  • Drive and support the development and implementation of digitalization strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize digitalization opportunities in various operational processes.
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of digital solutions with existing systems and technologies.
  • Manage and oversee projects related to digital transformation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Conduct regular assessments of existing processes to identify areas for improvement and automation.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in the biotech industry to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and support to teams adopting new digital tools and technologies.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Operations Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering or Science); Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in executing digitalization projects within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, familiarity with regulatory requirements in the biotech sector is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of biotech operations, including manufacturing, supply chain, and quality management processes.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
