Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing the assembly of mechanical seals (standard, rubber bellows, cartridge and compressor seals) and the test field at the Eurasburg site
• Responsibility for personnel, systems, processes and coordinated management of the department
• Ensuring a productive and flexible manufacturing process for the best possible fulfillment of cost, deadline and quality targets
• Personnel management for approx. 110 employees at the site
• Continuous improvement and optimization
• Successive implementation of our GLAD roadmap
• Budget responsibility and involvement in investment planning
• Close cooperation with the other production departments, assembly and the interface departments Engineering, HSE, Quality Management, Purchasing, Finance & Controlling

Qualifications:

• Completed technical studies
• Several years of professional experience in the production environment, including very good knowledge of assembly technology and organization
• Experience in employee management, motivation and development
• Lean training (at least Green Belt)
• Sound business management knowledge
• Experience in the area of change management
• Distinctive, entrepreneurial personality structure with a creative drive
• Strong customer orientation and flexibility in dealing with customers
• High awareness of quality and occupational safety
• Ability to work in a team and solution-oriented approach
• Very good communication skills, respectful and appreciative interaction with colleagues and superiors
• Knowledge of English CEF B2/C1, fluent German
