QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree with relevant technical qualification. Preferably 3 years of relevant experience

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

Manage non-operating activities and co-ordination with internal and external stakeholders on operating requirements to facilitate the smooth operation of the power plants and in compliance with regulatory and company standards and requirements.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consolidate annual operating budget for review and approval and monitor expenditure to ensure operating cost are within budget.
• Represent operations in maintenance task meetings to resolve maintenance issues.
• Co-ordinate requirements and liaise with procurement for the purchase of spares e.g., chemicals, i.e., those not under maintenance etc
• Liaise with customers to resolve routine contractual issues
• Liaise with regulators to ensure the validity and renewal of required operating permits.
• Prepare and submit all necessary regulatory reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare operation reports for management reporting as per required frequency.
• Co-ordinate, collate and implement inputs/updates for SOPs and ensure compliance.
• Co-ordinate schedule and prepare documentations for internal and external audit.
• Perform quarterly plant performance test, reporting and monitoring.
• Role of Energy Manager and WEMP Manager in the plant.
• Successful candidate can be appointed as part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) (training will be provided)
