As an Operations Engineer you will be working closely across all functions of the business in order to improve time to market and new manufacturing processes. You are a great communicator and relationship builder. You are confident in your abilities and aren’t afraid to ask the difficult questions.
You’ll become an integral member of the operations engineering team by improving and executing new product introduction process. This involves good understanding of current products & manufacturing practices, collaboration with development and value stream teams, value stream mapping, setup of new manufacturing process and analysing production and quality data to enable improvements to product design, production processes and capacity. You’ll be heavily involved in product and process design inputs, project & risk management, capacity planning, validation and continuous improvement activities.

The skills and experience you can bring include:

  • A Bachelor of Engineering degree (or equivalent)
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing is advantage
  • Project management
  • You have excellent communication skills, good presentation skills, solid analytical and problem-solving skills and some project management experience.
  • An understanding of LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
  • Ability to identify improvement opportunities and work cross functionally to implement these
  • Experience with managing change
