Description:

Operations Executive in Ju Eng Home, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the facility. This position involves overseeing various operational aspects to guarantee high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and a positive working environment for staff. The Operations Executive reports to the Operations Manager and collaborates with different departments to achieve organisational goals.
5.5 days week, alternate Saturday off
** The person need to be able to hands on on installations of M&E equipment. Is expected to get your hands dirty helping maintenance workers complete their tasks if required. 70% onsite (with compound), 30% office

Responsibilities:

  1. Regulatory Compliance:
  • Stay informed about and ensure adherence to local regulations related to nursing home operations.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies for inspections and audits, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  1. Facility Management:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping teams to address facility needs promptly.
  1. Staff Management:
  • Foster a positive working culture by promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development.
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify and address areas for improvement.
  1. Emergency Preparedness:
  • Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans to address potential crises or disasters.
  • Conduct regular drills to ensure staff readiness in emergency situations.
  1. Vendor and Supplier Management:
  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize operational efficiency.
  1. Communication:
  • Facilitate effective communication between different departments and levels of staff.
  • Act as a liaison between the nursing home and external stakeholders, including families, regulatory agencies, and community organizations.
