Description:
Operations Executive in Ju Eng Home, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the facility. This position involves overseeing various operational aspects to guarantee high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and a positive working environment for staff. The Operations Executive reports to the Operations Manager and collaborates with different departments to achieve organisational goals.
5.5 days week, alternate Saturday off
** The person need to be able to hands on on installations of M&E equipment. Is expected to get your hands dirty helping maintenance workers complete their tasks if required. 70% onsite (with compound), 30% office
Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay informed about and ensure adherence to local regulations related to nursing home operations.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies for inspections and audits, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Facility Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping teams to address facility needs promptly.
- Staff Management:
- Foster a positive working culture by promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care services.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify and address areas for improvement.
- Emergency Preparedness:
- Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans to address potential crises or disasters.
- Conduct regular drills to ensure staff readiness in emergency situations.
- Vendor and Supplier Management:
- Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize operational efficiency.
- Communication:
- Facilitate effective communication between different departments and levels of staff.
- Act as a liaison between the nursing home and external stakeholders, including families, regulatory agencies, and community organizations.
