Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in operations management or a similar role, with a track record of success in driving operational excellence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex operational challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with senior management to define operational goals and objectives aligned with the company’s overall strategic direction.
  • Conduct regular assessments of operational processes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement and Optimization:
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and reduce operational costs.
  • Implement best practices and standards to enhance operational performance and quality.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and technology integration to drive operational excellence.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Foster collaboration and communication across departments to ensure alignment of operational activities with business objectives.
  • Partner with various teams, including finance, sales, marketing, and customer service, to address operational challenges and drive cross-functional projects to completion.
  • Serve as a liaison between different departments to facilitate coordination and resolution of operational issues.
  • Resource Management:
  • Manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and facilities, to support operational needs and ensure optimal utilization.
  • Develop staffing plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to meet operational demands efficiently.
  • Monitor and control operational expenses to stay within budgetary constraints while maximizing value.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance:
  • Establish and enforce quality assurance standards and procedures to maintain high levels of product/service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and measure progress against targets.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into operational metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify root causes of operational issues and develop action plans for improvement.
