Description:

YOUR MISSION:

Your mission is to help Flow radically improve its ability to execute against ambitious goals. Flow is already one of the most ambitious companies in Europe - we help the largest, most advanced rocket, nuclear and aerospace companies in the world. Your mission is to scale our impact globally, helping us plan, allocate resources, hire, retain and operationalise the team. In your first year, we’ll be growing the team by 3x, raising our next major round of funding, scaling up operations in two countries, and becoming a global brand in systems engineering.
You will work closely with the CEO, to help turn his vision into a concrete gameplan, with buy-in across functions, and deliver against. You will own Ops, Finance, Legal, People, and other functions as we’re getting off the ground.
At Flow, we don’t just see operations as a back-office function; we believe it’s the heartbeat of our organisation, which glues together the CEO’s vision to a real tangible plan with cross-functional alignment.
We are looking for a strategic do-er, who has seen teams scale successfully, is excited by getting their hands dirty, and wants to grow into a Head of Ops.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to be part of leading a global movement in hardware. If you’re excited about shaping the future – then this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

The three most important things you’ll do at Flow:

  • Company Planning/execution - Build and run the operating cadence of Flow, ensuring seamless execution and delivery across all departments
  • Hiring / People / Culture - execution is only half of the challenge, we want our team to feel great about the day-to-day and find the right people as we scale
  • Finance & Legal - ensure we’re running a tight ship

In addition, as a start-up, you’ll be involved with or leading:

  • Foster an environment where our values are embraced and ingrained in our operations
  • When the going gets tough, you thrive. You’re cool under pressure and excel at finding solutions in high-stakes situations
  • You’ll boldly venture into creating novel solutions and pioneering innovation across the entire spectrum of our business operations
  • Build, scale and then discover bottlenecks and inefficiencies, then engineer creative solutions to optimise our processes and maximise productivity
