JOB SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven Management Experience (3 -5 years)
  • Systems and Process driven
  • Excellent ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instruction.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Excellent Computer skills – Excel focused, ability to learn new software systems.
  • Excellent Operations Experience in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Extensive Horticultural Background/Experience a plus
  • Excellent Management skills supported by proven track record.
  • Ability to manage 200+ staff at peak
  • Excellent ability to create/analyze/critique processes/SOP’s and pursue continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • KPI development experience.
  • Promote a positive, safe, professional and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOUR ROLE WILL BE

Reporting directly to the General Manager(GM), the Operations Manager is responsible for labour and resource planning to support department requirements and maximize operational efficiency. As a detailed planner, you will help fellow management staff in the planning and execution of key deliverables and establish continued process improvement. As a member of our Divisional Management Team, you will play a key role in obtaining profit contribution for our location while helping lead staff on the strategic direction and business objectives put forth by the General Manager, National and Executive Management Teams.
BTN strives to maintain a team environment where every individual is important to the Organization as a whole. The Operations Manager is responsible for setting a good working example and maintaining a positive work environment. Developing strong working relationships and clear communication between all departments is imperative.
