REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-4 year’s experience in an Operational Management role within a hotel.
- Standards Driven, particularly in Front Of House Operations.
- Ability to plan and think strategically.
- Strong desire to progress and develop your career.
- People leadership and motivation experience.
- Strong communicator; and comfortable in contributing to the overall hotel strategy.
- Ability to build relationships and influence with all levels of the business.
Responsibilities:
OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE
Reporting to & supporting the Hotel Manager, the Operations Manager will manage the day-to-day operations for all areas of the hotel as well as motivating and leading our operational teams across all departments.
With 502 Bedrooms Clayton Hotel Burlington Road is Irelands third largest hotel and Dublin’s largest Conference Hotel. Catering for international delegates across a variety of events.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide strategic and operational support to the Hotel Manager.
- Directly support the head of departments and their management teams.
- Ensure that customer care is the focus across all operational departments to achieve our Trust You Targets.
- Assist with the profitability conversion and KPI’s to help the hotel reach it’s EBITDAR.
- Support the HR Team in delivering it’s people strategy and keep the team consistently engaged.
- Ability to consistently motivate our teams to deliver excellent service adhering to our Clayton Brand standards.
- Succession Planning – Lead the development and continuous learning of our high potentials and managers.
