Description:
For almost two decades, Yalari has been dedicated to transforming the lives of Indigenous children from remote and regional communities across Australia. By providing scholarships to some of the country’s leading boarding schools, they’ve opened doors to quality education and fostered environments that promote academic success, cultural connection, and leadership development. As of 2024, Yalari proudly supports 250 students on their high school journey throughout Australia, with over 500 alumni continuing to make their mark as future Indigenous leaders.
As Yalari continues its mission to impact the next generation of Indigenous leaders, we’re seeking an Operations Manager to play a vital role in driving organisational excellence across key operational areas. Reporting to the Chief Finance and Operating Officer, the Operations Manager will lead and manage various initiatives to ensure seamless governance and process, foster a thriving people and culture environment, and drive strategic projects aligned with Yalari’s vision and values.
The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated experience in corporate services, with an understanding of risks, policies, procedures, and data management. Proficiency in project management is essential, as the role involves leading strategic initiatives and operational projects. This position is well-suited for someone with a proactive, inquisitive nature, who thrives in dynamic environments and possesses strong problem-solving skills. Yalari’s core values of compassion, openness, respect, resilience, inclusiveness, and excellence are fundamental to every operational decision, guiding their mission to empower Indigenous education and create equitable opportunities for future generations.
This role will require a current Working with Children Check and National Police Check, alongside full rights to work in Australia. This is not an identified position, but Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.
