Description:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent experience required
  • At least five (5) years of experience managing projects or teams
  • Proficiency in analyzing data and creating KPIs
  • Healthcare and/or contracting experience preferred
  • Lean or Six Sigma experience preferred
  • Travel required: up to 15%

Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Operations Manager role manages a team that oversees contract operations (inclusive of payor contracting and facility credentialing), operational projects and business analyses for the Payor Partnerships team. You will partner with other functions and lanes to ensure high quality in operationalizing our large portfolio of contracts, managing the obligations of the portfolio, and overseeing projects that continuously improve our operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operations leadership: Leads and directs daily work of teammates to drive progress toward KPIs and team goals using multiple data and workflow management systems
  • Account/portfolio management: Oversees large-scale portfolio changes, including analyzing business problems, effectively communicating recommendations, and executing to the recommendations with a team.
  • People management: Provide leadership and ensures continuous learning to direct reports.
  • Stakeholder management: Influences and collaborates with leaders in other lanes and organizations like negotiators, analysts, legal department, and payors to strategically manage relationships and ensure contract obligations are met.
  • Project management leadership: Applies project and change management principles to lead a portfolio of contracting and continuous improvement projects
