Description:

The purpose of this role is to support our Service Line SL markets in operational transformation, integration and an agenda of continuous improvement. Partner with, and work together with, service line markets to develop business solutions, reengineer processes, identify opportunities to leverage existing or innovate new products, technologies and automations, and lead the deployment of service line platforms and product investments.
Support critical SL agendas of growth and margin improvement, by deep diving opportunity improvement areas, and using design thinking, kaizen and business analysis skills to reimagine new processes, solutions and ways of working. Supporting markets to crystalise benefits from operational change.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven Operations gun to generate operational improvement across our markets to release value through the design and delivery thinking across; people, process, data and technology change
The role:
As the Operations Manager at dentsu ANZ, you will be responsible for driving and activating operational improvements across the business areas it supports in line with our operational plans. This role will work closely with the Operations Director(s) to drive operational excellence and governance, project management and delivery, as well as effective offshoring operations.

Core responsibilities:

  • Execute on operational plans and support the operational delivery in line with dentsu ANZ’s strategic priorities
  • Independently analyse processes and structures, including value stream mapping, spans and layers assessment, and cost analysis
  • Drive and execute operational excellence and change program initiatives aimed at harmonising and integrating our operations
  • Act as the key interface with functional teams (finance, people & legal) representing the business’ requirements and possible solutions to any roadblocks
  • Translate operational plans into actionable execution across processes, people, and technology
  • Assist in designing and executing improvements to processes and ways of working, applying design thinking principles and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Collaborate with Commercial Finance to ensure effective alignment of operational plans with commercial performance and financial metrics

  • Operational experience - able to understand industry trends, client’s current expectations and future direction
  • Understanding of project management methodology and best practice
