Description:
REQUIREMENTS TO ACCESS THIS FUNCTION (EX. EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE…):
Education requirements:
University degree in business administration/economics or comparable working experience
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 6 years experience in a comparable role in the banking sector
KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL SKILLS (HARD SKILLS):
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Sound advisory capabilities to best manage external and internal clients’ requirements
- Very strong proofreading skills of legal credit documents, professional negotiation skills
- Deep experience in the international syndicated loans market with broad and deep product knowledge
- Strong leadership skills and experience in a team management role
- Profound MS Office experience, Loan IQ knowledge
PERSONAL SKILLS (SOFT SKILLS):
- Strong customer focus, business orientation and relationship skills
- Ability to work under extreme pressure and against very tight timellines
- Advanced & effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills,
- Ability to meet the challenges presented by a fast paced, constantly changing work environment.
- Strong team spirit and ability to establish a solid network in an international, diverse and dynamic environment
- Result orientation

Responsibilities:
- Deal-Captain (with own responsibility) for a diverse sophisticated portfolio of syndicated/large scale bilateral loans from offer/start to closing until final maturity date.This includes project financings, leveraged transactions, stand-by facilitites, acquisition financings restructurings, workouts etc. for multinational clients based in EMEA, Dutch & German Large & Midcaps
- Regular interaction and pro-active management of internal stakeholders and market counterparties
- Review, comment and negotiate legal documents (loan agreements, security agreements etc)
- Coordination and collection of all internal approvals for new deals/lifecycle events (e.g. Legal, Credit Risk Management, Compliance, KYC etc)
- Manage all lifecycle events during the lifetime of a loan (amendments, waivers, extensions, increases etc.)
- Deliver key information to support external auditor in preparation of annual financial statements
- Support Senior Management in local & global projects
