The Malone has just rebranded and has undergone an extensive refurbishment of the bar, restaurant and wider hotel.
We have an opportunity for an Operations Manager - Food and Beverage to join our growing team
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced departmental manager looking to take the next step in their career in hospitality!
A hand on, operational role, you will take responsibility for the Food and Beverage team delivering quality 4-star service across a busy hotel operation, including our newly refurbished restaurant, Gallery, The Greyhound Bar and our events spaces.
You will have a strong focus on people development, customer service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
AN OVERVIEW OF YOUR DUTIES:
- Manage the bar, restaurant and events spaces, overseeing day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
- Ensure excellent levels of internal and external customer service at all times
- Assist with the design of exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements to your department
- Identify customer needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns
- Develop the food and beverage teams by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising
- Establish targets, SOP’s, policies and procedures required for your department to run effectively and efficiently
- Ensure a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis on motivation and teamwork
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
- Report to management regarding sales results and productivity
