We are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager at Ettington Park Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels.
The only AA 4 Red Star hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon, Ettington Park is renowned as one of the finest hotels in Warwickshire. Set within 40 acres of luscious parkland in a verdant valley with the river Stour meandering through it, the spectacular country house boasts 47 characterful bedrooms and the finest seasonal cuisine served in its 2AA Rosette restaurant. Ettington Park has gained an enviable reputation for offering one of the finest afternoon teas in Stratford-upon-Avon, while many couples have chosen its spectacular grounds as a magical backdrop for their perfect wedding.

About you:

  • To be considered for this role, you must have at least 2 years experience working at Hotel Operations Manager level or above, within a high end 4 or 5 star hotel.
  • It is essential you have an excellent understanding of food and beverage, rooms and housekeeping and have the ability to lead from the front when required.
  • You must have a proven track record of delivering consistency in a multi-outlet F&B operation including a fine dining restaurant concept, bar, meetings and events.
  • Be able to demonstrate a strong commercial acumen, ability to drive revenue, control costs and GP’s whilst seeking new revenue opportunities to increase sales.
  • Experience of planning, developing and implementing new initiatives, capex and projects. Up to date knowledge of statutory obligations, health and safety and HR polices.
  • Had previous exposure of delivering a high level of service and standards, achieving goals and delivering on objectives to achieve a high end seamless operation.
  • Proficient in hotel software

Responsibilities:

  • As the Operations Manager you will assist in the smooth running of all day to day hotel operations, ensuring luxury 5 star service and standards are delivered, creating a magical experience for our guests.
  • You will be responsible for leading, inspiring and developing your Head of Departments in order to achieve the goals and future aspirations for the hotel.
  • The Operations Manager will be an innovative individual with excellent leadership skills and have a well-rounded knowledge of managing all hotel operations. This role will suit an experienced Hotel Operations Manager with a strong Food & Beverage background looking for the next step in their career.
