Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an Operations Manager this position will deputize for the training manager and Account manager. Operational managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations with the cluster assigned. Brief and inform the Security Manager on all issues for escalation, with the following duties as well as Proxy and additional duties assigned & as follow:

  • Review desk journal, tickets, badge logs, and visitor records on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and report any deviations and implement remediation as appropriate
  • Track progress on broken device repairs and include vendor meetings as needed
  • Manage Remedy Ticketing System to ensure information is correct and status is updated
  • Compile all data for QBRs
  • Oversee onboarding and on the job training / licensing and any local requirements
  • Track alarm violations and manage reporting on violators, cause and resolution
  • Ensure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are met
  • Assure regular communication of issues or program to the client
  • Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately
  • Other contract management responsibilities as determined by the client
  • Develop Vendor Personnel in both technical and professional skills
  • Management of Vendor Personnel (coaching, counselling, disciplining, training, annual formal performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)
  • Assure Vendor Personnel records are updated and accurate
  • Assure communication of policies and company announcements & meet all position requirements
  • Coordinate and/or conduct site-specific on the job training, Client’s-specific training, and an annual refresher training for Vendor Personnel
  • Develop / maintain operational procedures so that valid, site-specific operations and Post Orders are always available for emergency reference by the Vendor Personnel
  • Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies and vehicles utilized at the Site(s), maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklists
  • Responsible for working with the client to resolve or escalate all day-to-day issues related to the Reports for the applicable Cluster, including Vendor Personnel management, staffing, SLAs, continuous improvement, communication, documentation and training. Ensuring Dark Hours/Posts are mitigated and covered
  • Travel to Sites being serviced by Vendor within the Cluster as needed
  • Oversee and ensure all lessons learned and changes in SOP and Policies are implemented
